Easter

Easter is more than just a holiday.

It’s a divine invitation to step into the promise of new life, fresh beginnings.

And the powerful truth of Jesus’ resurrection.

For women of faith, this season holds deep personal meaning.

It’s a time to reflect on what it means to live in the light of Christ’s victory over the grave and to allow that truth to transform our hearts and lives.

Scripture Insight: John 11:25-26

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life.

The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.

Do you believe this?”

These words were spoken to Martha by Jesus just before He raised her brother Lazarus from the dead.

In the middle of her sorrow, Jesus offered her the ultimate promise—He is life itself.

This Easter, His words are still speaking to our weary hearts, reminding us that even in seasons of grief, doubt, or waiting, resurrection is possible.

Reflection Questions

What part of my life feels lifeless or stagnant, and how can I invite Jesus into it this Easter?

Maybe it’s a relationship, a dream, or even your faith that feels numb.

Easter reminds us that Jesus breathes life into what seems dead.

You can start by simply talking to Him about it—He’s ready to respond.

How do I respond when I’m waiting for God to show up?

Like Martha, we often wrestle with God’s timing.

But Jesus meets us in that tension, offering His presence and peace even before the miracle.

Trust grows in the waiting.

Am I living like I believe in resurrection power every day?

Belief isn’t just about words—it’s about stepping forward in faith.

Living like the resurrection is true means carrying hope, extending grace, and walking in courage.

Devotional Thought

Easter isn’t just a story we remember—it’s a reality we live in.

The empty tomb means your failures aren’t final, your pain isn’t permanent, and your waiting is not wasted.

Jesus didn’t just conquer death—He offers us the power to rise above fear, sin, and hopelessness every day.

This season is your reminder: you are not forgotten.

You are being renewed.

As you move through Easter, pause and look for signs of life—in your heart, your home, and your relationship with God.

They might be small, like the courage to try again or the strength to forgive.

But they’re real.

And they matter.

Prayer

Jesus, thank You for the cross and the empty tomb.

Thank You for being my resurrection and my life.

I bring You the places in my heart that feel stuck or broken, and I ask You to breathe Your life into them.

Help me to live each day in the light of Your resurrection, with boldness, hope, and joy.

Teach me to trust You even when I don’t see the full picture.

Let this Easter be a fresh beginning.

Amen.
