The One Who Dwells Within You

We live in a time where strength is often measured by outward accomplishments and constant hustle.

For women navigating the pressures of work, home, relationships, and spiritual growth, it’s easy to feel like we’re not doing enough.

But the truth is, we’re not expected to do it all in our own power.

The One who dwells within you is your constant source of strength, wisdom, and peace.

When we learn to live from that place, everything changes.

Scripture Insight: 1 Corinthians 6:19

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?

You are not your own.” – 1 Corinthians 6:19

Reflective Questions

What does it mean to be a temple of the Holy Spirit?

It means you are not just a woman trying to make it through life—you are sacred space.

The Spirit of God chose to dwell within you.

Your heart, mind, and body are places where His presence resides.

This truth brings both comfort and a calling to live with purpose.

How does this change the way I view my worth?

When you remember that God lives in you, you stop trying to prove your value through performance.

Your worth is not determined by others’ opinions or life’s circumstances.

The One who dwells within you has already declared you valuable, holy, and chosen.

What area of my life have I treated as my own, rather than God’s?

God calls us to surrender every part of our lives—our time, choices, relationships, even our thoughts—because we are His.

He doesn’t ask for perfection, only surrender and trust.

Devotional Thought

You don’t have to strive to be enough.

You already are, because the Spirit of God lives in you.

When you feel overwhelmed, undervalued, or unseen, remember this truth: you are a temple.

Holy.

Set apart.

Filled with power and peace.

The One who dwells within you gives you the courage to rise, the strength to persevere, and the grace to keep going.

You are not your own—and that’s a beautiful freedom.

You belong to the God who cherishes you beyond measure.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for making me Your dwelling place.

So often, I forget the power and peace that lives inside of me.

Remind me that I am not my own—I am Yours.

Help me live like a temple: sacred, intentional, and full of Your presence.

When I’m tempted to rely on my own strength, lead me back to Yours.

Fill me with a deep awareness that You are always with me, working through me, and strengthening me from within.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
